Lyra / Hammock Technique 1

The starting place for Lyra or Hammock! You will be educated in essentials of apparatus safety. You’ll gain body awareness and learn how to mount and exit the aerial hoop safely & efficiently! The focus will be on building the fundamental strength required to progress seamlessly on your movement journey.


We recommend taking this class 4 - 6 times, then you'll be ready to rock on to Level 2!

Lyra / Hammock Technique 2

In this class you will build strength, improve flexibility and begin to transition into aerial moves underneath and inside of the lyra. This class will take your introduction knowledge to new heights! The lyras will be rigged 5 feet above the ground. Conditioning exercises will be increased to build strength with a focus on proper alignment and mechanics as you move through full combinations.

​*Needed Skills: Prerequisite Lyra 1 (minimum of 4 attendances).

Lyra / Hammock Dance Choreography level 2

This is a lovely time to play with choreography and dance with and around the Lyra. Movement designed to bring your learned technical skills to life!

A heartfelt choreography will be presented as well as freestyle opportunities. With less conditioning and more heart connected movement -

practice your unique expression and flow!
